Privacy Policy

Grace & Mercy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. PRS is the product we use to help groups read Scripture together and stay in touch about group activity.

We collect your name, email address, phone number, language preference, group membership, notification preferences, and messaging consent records when you opt in to texts. We also collect technical data such as IP address and browser information when needed to operate the Site and keep an audit trail of consent.

We use this information to create and maintain your account, let you join groups, send email and (if you opt in) text notifications about those groups, send one-time verification codes, and operate and improve the Site. Your contact information is used for registration and notification purposes only.

If you turn on text messages, we send group announcements, reading reminders, and session reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time, or START to resume. You can also turn texts off in notification settings. Email notifications stay on unless you turn those off separately.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We use service providers to operate the Site, including Twilio for SMS and phone verification, SendGrid for email, and analytics providers. These providers process personal data only on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your language preference, and they cannot be turned off because the Site does not work without them. Analytics cookies, provided by Google Analytics, help us understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. Advertising storage stays off unless you turn it on, and we do not currently serve ads. The first time you visit, a banner lets you accept or reject the optional categories, and we remember your choice for up to 13 months.

We keep account and consent records for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal and carrier requirements. Consent events are kept as an audit trail even after you opt out.

You can update your contact information and notification preferences in settings. You can revoke SMS consent by turning texts off in settings or by replying STOP. You can request account deletion by contacting us.

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do.
